Company Description

GigaMind Technologies Private Limited is a DPIIT-recognised DeepTech robotics company building ChefBot, a modular robotic kitchen that prepares complete Indian meals and cleans the vessels afterwards. Cooking is the largest block of unavoidable unpaid labour in the Indian household. The Government of India's Time Use Survey 2024 records women spending 289 minutes a day on unpaid domestic work against 88 minutes for men. Existing answers fail: food delivery is expensive and unhealthy for daily use, domestic cooks cost 8,000 to 15,000 a month in metros with high attrition, and the cooking robots currently sold in India are single-pot machines that make one curry, cannot make roti or rice and dal together, and leave all the cleaning to the user. ChefBot is a CNC-grade XYZ gantry built into the kitchen. A single motorised head picks up interchangeable tools at a fixed tool-change station — a kneader, a cutter, a stirrer, a gripper and a wash head — so one machine cooks dal, chawal and sabji, adds a roti module, and then washes the vessels on the same rail. Because a household cooks roughly three times a day, the arm is idle between meals, and that idle time is what makes shared-rail dishwashing possible without a second arm or a second machine. The system runs on standard 230 V household electricity, heats by induction, and serves a family of four. It launches at 2.5 lakh, with six- person and eight-person variants to follow.
