Webyalaya is a multilingual, AI-enabled peer learning platform built to transform the way students learn by making education more collaborative, accessible, and inclusive. While digital education has expanded rapidly, most existing platforms still rely on one-way content delivery, leaving students to learn in isolation with limited opportunities for discussion, peer support, or learning in their preferred language. Webyalaya addresses this gap by enabling students to teach what they know and learn what they want through structured peer-to-peer learning communities. The platform leverages AI-powered learner matching and session moderation to connect students based on their learning goals, interests, proficiency levels, and language preferences, ensuring safe, relevant, and engaging learning experiences. Features such as collaborative study rooms, discussion spaces, and community-driven knowledge sharing encourage active participation rather than passive content consumption. Designed with a multilingual-first approach, Webyalaya aims to bridge the digital learning divide, particularly for students from Tier 2, Tier 3, and rural India, where language barriers and limited access to quality learning communities often restrict educational opportunities. The platform also helps learners develop the 4Cs of 21st-century skills—Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity—alongside academic learning. Aligned with the vision of NEP 2020, Webyalaya is building Bharat's collaborative learning infrastructure by empowering learners to learn together, share knowledge, and grow through community-led education.
