Greater Noida, August 23, 2026: Gautam Buddha University (GBU) will celebrate its 19th Foundation Day along with National Space Day on August 23, 2026, at the Main Auditorium from 10:00 AM onwards.
The celebration will feature the launch of Mission ShaktiSAT, the world’s first global all-girls lunar satellite mission, in association with IN-SPACe, Government of India, and Space Kidz India.
The event will be graced by Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Chancellor, GBU, as the Chief Guest, with Shri Nand Gopal Gupta, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister, Government of Uttar Pradesh, as the Guest of Honour.
The initiative highlights GBU’s commitment to innovation, space technology, scientific research, STEM education and women’s participation in science and technology. Mission ShaktiSAT will further inspire young minds to explore opportunities in space science, research and technological innovation.
The celebration marks another milestone in Gautam Buddha University’s journey towards academic excellence, innovation and research-driven education.
